Just in time for Fathers Day!
This is the consummate summertime picnic food! Great meal for leftover pulled pork as well. I personally love it because it is just another way to use mason jars which for some reason makes me really really happy.
BBQ Pork Sundae (makes approx 8 16 oz. mason jar servings)
4 to 5 cups of mashed potatoes (warm)
4 to 5 cups pulled pork(warm)
Barbecue Sauce (warm)
4 to 5 cups cole slaw
pickles for garnish
Line up the mason jars. spoon approx. 1/2 cup mashed potatoes into each jar follwed by about 1/2 cup pulled pork, pour a couple of tablespoons of barbecue sauce over the pulled pork followed by about 1/2 cup cole slaw. Decorate with pickles….okay , that just sounds fun…. Serve.
